The mission of the California Wildlife Officers Foundation (CALWOF) is to provide financial benefits and citizen support to California Wildlife Officers and their families.

CALWOF was officially incorporated in February 2007 by a visionary group of Californians who understand Wildlife Officers are the first and often the only line of enforcement for the myriad laws that protect California’s diverse wildlife and natural resources.

Their goal was to create an organization that could unite varied interest groups, from outdoorsmen and women to environmental organizations and the public-at-large, to answer the question of how everyone who appreciates California’s outdoor resources and wildlife can support our Wildlife Officers and the critical work they do.

In early 2008, CALWOF reached its rst fundraising goal of $1 million enabling it to award its first $13,000 in scholarships to 12 children and one spouse of Wildlife Officers in August of that year. Since 2008, CALWOF has issued grants of over $550,000 with over $255,000 in scholarships going to 89 children of the Wildlife Officers or their spouses.

With your support, we can continue to positively impact the Wildlife Officers of this great state.
